These lights are great! They’re so bright and I’ll be buying another set of 4 for the other two sides of the house. I also like their versatility of installation, I’ve been able to orient them to best suit the area I’m putting them.

These were recommended to us, we bought a pack and the next day, we bought another pack, then decided to go around the whole yard. These are great! The motion detection has a nice range, light stays on for just the right amount of time and it added a nice touch to yard. We got these because when our dog goes to the back corner, hard to see him, but now, no hiding! We used industrial strength velcro to attach to fence, didn’t want to drill into, so far, no issues. Lighting is the cheapest security feature to add to your home. Would highly recommend these.

Much brighter than anticipated, motion detection is spot onI installed these on 4 corner posts of our carport , facing outward, at a height of 8-9’. I was unsure as to whether the light output would be useful or if the sensors would even register. To my surprise both well exceeded my expectations.Plenty of light for safe walking and the sensors are wide angle. Even spaced at 20’ between units, walking right between them will cause both to turn on. Stepping out from the vehicle and out from under the covered portion within 6” will cause them to turn on.Time will tell as to their longevity but for the price, who can complain? You’ll pay at least 2-2.5x more at a big box store and the quality would likely be no better.

So I got this Tuesday, installed Wednesday, and turned on Thursday night. The parts:Screws are cheap metal. One screw snapped on install.I didn’t check the size of the light, but was surprised it was to big to mount on the side of a 4×4.The install:Doesn’t get any easier with two screws and a drill with the right size Phillips head. The light works great. Time will tell how durable and long lasting this light will be.

I have a small farm / barnyard and wanted some lighting to keep away predators. There isn’t any electric source down by the sheds. I didn’t have the finances to have electric run to the barnyard and I am not skilled at running electric. I wasn’t sure what to do and I stumbled across these. I LOVE THEM. I easily screwed them up on the fence and now I have very bright spotlights in the barnyard and another one facing out. When a predator comes near the fence – the lights flip on. I plan on purchasing a few more sets for other areas around my property!!!

I installed these lights 3 months ago and they have more than exceeded my expectations. I love these lights. Easy to install, the motion sensor works great, the light is super bright, and it’s all powered by the SUN! Even during periods where we have days of clouds and rain, these lights still worked like clockwork! I would highly recommend. I have no idea what some of the negative reviews are talking about but I can tell you that I would not trust them. There is nothing wrong with these lights. Best value and super easy. I live on a river in the woods and I have a LOT of trees around my place so I was worried about the solar power but wow I am amazed at how well these charge. I have a couple that are in places that hardly get any sun and they are just as bright as the ones that get sun all day. I love them!

Wow. I was going to order another set of these and when I looked up the order on Amazon I was amazed that I had ordered the originals in March, 2018. Believe it or not the ones I’m ordering are not replacements they are for a new location. The originals are still going strong 4 years later. The only thing I would tell you is make sure they are in a location that gets full light, I had one mounted under a carport and it would be pretty dim, especially after a few overcast days. Moving it out from under the overhang did the trick. These aren’t hugely bright but will help you unlock the door or see enough to keep you from tripping on the stairs. The best bang for the buck solar powered motion sensor lights you can buy, in my opinion.

These have survived rain storms, the great Texas freeze of 2021, Texas heat, strong winds, and anything else nature has thrown at them. They are excellent lights and I plan to buy more to add to a new home I’m moving to in a few weeks. Definitely recommend!!

These are small but put out a lot of light. They detect motion within a wide area about 20 feet out front and 20 feet around. They only turn on at night which is what you want. We have two under the eaves of our house facing north and they don’t have to be in direct sunlight to charge sufficiently. We placed them about 30-40 feet apart to have sufficient light to cover a large area. The light is so bright we had to move one higher up because it blinded us when at eye level. We have been very pleased with these lights. Negative: Wish they had a larger option. You will need several to light up a large area.

Installed and in use for 9+ months now. Was worried that one of the four lights would not get enough daily sunlight, but turned out not to be the case. So far the only small problem is that about a month ago one of the lights started to turn on and stay on for about 10 minutes at night for no apparent reason. I say no reason because I have been there outside at same time. No trigger. Always the same light. Always on for fewer than 10 minutes, and seems to happen about once every 10 days or so. I can live with that irritant…the only thing that does irritate me is the blue light color. Ugh.. but that creepy shade seems to be the global standard. Hideous, but so it goes. Anyway, am really very pleased overall and ready to buy more.

I have a fenced in area for my dogs that is very dark at night. I attached these motion lights all around the fence and now when my dogs walk around the whole area lights up. I need to buy more since I have a large area. I attached these to the wire dog fence with outdoor tape, which has held up nicely. I would like someway to adjust the length of time they are on since they go out if the dogs stay still. BUT, I absolutely love these and will buy more.

These lights came on time and were packaged extremely well. I installed them on my garage fence posts for security and safety reasons.I am very pleased with these lights and would certainly buy them again if needed. They do a great job of lighting up my drive and the motionsensors work really well.I installed them without the batteries and rely on the solar power for light. I haven’t had them that long so time will tell.

These worked like a charm! I put them on my children’s 16’x8′ pirate ship play set. We put a lot of time and effort into building it two years ago and it made me sad that during nights and home or large parties it would sit empty as soon as the sun went down. It was too dark for the kids to feel comfortable playing, but too far from the house to run lights without kids tripping over the cords. Enter Baxia solar lights: It detects motion from far enough away that they are barely in the dark, it stays on for plenty of time, and lit up not only the swings but cast enough light to let them feel safe playing on the jungle gym some twenty feet away. The entire “hull” is a giant sandbox, so we tried one out in there-much to my delight the indirect light coming through the slats in the deck were enough to keep it lit! I placed one in my garden with the same success. We put three on the ship and plan to add more! These are fantastic and can’t be beat for the price

These really do work well!…I’m impressed.I attached them to the side of my large RV with 3M VHB tape, so no holes drilled.I caution all that these are motion sensitive security lights, and they will illuminate instantly and brightly if they detect motion, so if you tend to drive at night, you must first deactivate them.I advise that you do NOT attach these high up so that you can easily reach the tiny deactivation switch located in the little hole on front of light. Each light comes with a bag of mounting screws and a very small piece of bare wire used to deactivate/activate the light…The wire has a loop built in one end…Run a string lanyard thru the wire loop and hang it inside your RV so it is quick and easy to find to turn off your lighting before you drive at night.

The only question is “how long will they last”? I don’t think these are 400 Lumens – well I am about 95% sure they are not but they are plenty bright for my needs. The photos were taken with a lit up cloudy sky but still bright none the less. The IPhone Auto ISO went to 320 w/3 lights and IS0-1000 with the one corner light. Just trying to give you an idea on how bright the phone made the photos but once again, don’t get me wrong these are bright little lights, especially for being solar. They have been rained on a few times so no problem yet. Three turn off after 30 seconds and the 4th after 40. I might raise them higher but I think it helps my dogs set them off being this low. Had some battery operated Mr. Beems in that spot which were plenty bright but they cut off after only 10 seconds. Anyway, these are great lights and just still so impressed with the current era of lights in the world.

I bought these lights for my mom for Christmas to light up the sidewalk between the garage and the back door. They do an excellent job! Their motion-sensing ability is super…when you walk on by, it lights right up, and during daylight hours it somehow knows not to light up. It only functions when it’s dark outside, as it should. Installation was easy; the lights come with anchors and screws. I used a drill to make a hole for the anchor and screw when attaching it to aluminum siding, and just used the screws when attaching to wood. I highly recommend these lights, as they do exactly what they purport to do!

These lights are so worth it, that I bought a total of 3 sets (12 lights total). They are along my white vinyl fence. I did not screw them in, I used 3m double sided HD tape. These are very bright for how small they are especially being solar.

I ordered the first 4 pack end of October of 2019. Loved them so much ordered another set a week later. They are still working 2 years later. The brightness of the sun does affect the brightness of the light so choose your spots carefully. I’ve noticed if it’s overcast/cloudy, the lights will not be as bright at night. Also discovered an easier way of putting them up than with the screws. I used Scotch Extreme Fasteners (less than $4 a pack). They work great and withstand the outdoor elements.

Holy Cow I did not expect much from these but they are GREAT! Less than $8/light and they do exactly what they say. We put them up about 10 feet in trees along our long driveway and even in dappled light under the tree canopy they charge enough to turn on every time we drive past them at night. They say they have a 100 ft radius and I believe it because like I said, our cars are decently far away from them and they pick up the motion. Very bright for how small they are too. Totally bright enough to light up the ground underneath them from 10 ft up like daylight. And we had a huge storm after they’d been up a few days and the rain didn’t phase them one bit so they seem to be totally weatherproof. I’m buying more for the house, garage, whatever I need motion lights for. Can’t recommend highly enough!

It is so satisfying to receive a product that actually does what it says it is gonna do. Right out of the box, 3 out of the four were charged and ready to go. Put the fourth one in the cloudy NJ winter sky and it was charged and ready to go within hours. I’ve had an issue with a raccoon taking up residence under my deck. Reading up on their habits, I saw that they don’t like bright light, figured I’d take a chance on these. Attached to the posts on my deck railings (with Alien Tape so as not to put holes in my vinyl posts) and they are so bright and very sensitive to movement, just perfect in every way. I highly recommend. They do what they say they’re gonna do and as far as I’m concerned, that’s a game changer.

I was hesitant to buy these just because of some of the bad reviews that people had left about them, but there were significantly more good ones than ad so I bought them. Now we just installed them today so I cant tell you if 2 months from now they may stop working. We screwed 2 of them to the wooden banisters on the stairs leading up to my porch, and used double sided tape to mount one above the front door and to the side of the front door. They’re pretty bright considering how small they are.Just remember when you get them to take that tiny little pin that comes with them and poke it once into the tiny hole on the front of the light. If things change or they stop working I will update this review at a later time.

Perfect addition to my backyard. I currently rent and wanted to add lighting to the backyard so when I let the pup out at night I can see her and any possible creatures that might be lurking. I have the small border solar lights around the fence but that didn’t illuminate enough of the yard as I wanted. These are small but packing a lot of light power. The motion detector is my favorite feature this way when she’s in the house I don’t have to see the lights beaming when not necessary. I like the bright white light to light up the yard but if you are going for more of an ambience, cozy back yard feel, then I would go with a soft white/yellow bulb. Super easy to install (2 small screws), did it alone without help. When I leave this place I’m taking them with me!

I have one set and am very impressed. I just ordered another set and will probably order more. I have 4 set up around my house and they work great! Plenty of light and a very sensitive motion sensor. So sensitive that I have to put a small piece of tape over part of the sensor on the light at the front of the house facing the road. Its about 25 feet from the road and it lit up every time a car went by. The tape covers enough that you have to be closer to it to turn it on. I have a large yard surrounded by trees, so I’ll be attaching more of them to the trees around the perimeter. Very impressed with the operation, quality, and especially the price. I’ll update the review in a few months to see how the batteries handle our days of sub-zero temps this winter.

In my review: 400 lumen light level, cats turn it on, stays on for 30 seconds, mount with screws or outdoor tape.I wasn’t sure I would use 4 of these (and technically still haven’t), but I will. They advertise 400 lumens of light, which isn’t much, but if you have a dark area of the yard, like by a shed or gate, these are great for adding some light. It sure helps to find keys. I live in the country and have many dark corners. I have installed 2 of these so far. They are about 8-9 feet off of the ground and the cats turn them on, if walking by. I mounted one with screws and one with double sided outdoor Gorilla tape (part number 6065001 on Amazon). There are other brands, but make sure you get double-sided outdoor tape. Each of these lights is very light and the tape will have no problem holding it. They are motion activated LED lights and go on or off quickly with light levels (like if you have this in a shed, it will come on when you open the door, as long as it is dark, but if you turn on a light, it will go out right away). I am satisfied with the width of the light. Both of my lights are near two gates/doors that are 10-15 feet apart. Each light is by one gate/door, and there is enough light to see the handle/lock at another gate/door that is 10-15 feet away. I bought some for my dad to install by stairs leading to his deck and he loves them. Almost forgot, there are screws and drywall anchors provided for mounting. Not sure whey drywall anchors are needed outdoors. There is also a pin provided; this is to turn the light on/off. It won’t work, if you don’t turn it on first.

These are bright, very lightweight and easy to install. They also have pretty decent range. They don’t stay on for very long, about 30 seconds after they are set off by motion unless triggered again. When I was working on placement I attached them to my siding with velcro to make sure the height and position was right. The range for the motion detector was about 8-12 feet at a height of 9 feet reliably. They are so light that it held them for several weeks and through several storms before I got around to attaching them more permanently. One thing to note is that you need to ‘turn them on’ before hanging them. There is a tiny pin hole on the front that you will need to use a paper clip or something similar to turn on the power switch before they will work.

I bought this almost year ago during prime day and finally found a use for them. They are attached to my deck railing to light up the ramp when in use and are working out fine. Bright enough and stay on long enough before going off to light up the way. I though might be to large to avoid bumping into but after attached no problem of that. Solar lights have come along way and have so many uses so don’t be afraid to invest in these.Update: installed and working out great my ramp is well lighted really pleased. These can be used anywhere as long sun light to recharge battery.Update: nasty winter 2021 in ny this year but they are all still working no failures solar panels show little wear but I’m guessing just cosmetic and will clean up.Update: starting winter months and still working but one at 5 AM isn’t working but did early so cold might be draining power on this one. If you own pets really need these to light the way for themUpdate: March 2022 and they are still working just as Bright as first installed. Yes today you have better choices more lights & options but for lighting a deck ramp just enough needed so bought 4 more to replace failing lights from another manufacturer. Great lighting deal today by Amazon made price worth investing in again.Update: bought another set to replace 2 by another company that has failed. Put 2 up but one doesn’t seam to be charging, worked when installed but doesn’t lite now. I’m guessing faulty solar panel connections to bad at lest its only one have 2 more not used so I’ll be replacing it. When checking looks like you contact Amazon for trouble shooting or replacement.

For my application, my sidewalk was extremely dark at night. I placed four of these lights on my fence adjacent to the sidewalk. They worked excellently providing ample light as the motion sensor picked up movement. The only wish is for each light to remain on for another 30 Sec.

I have purchased lights from several manufacturers over the past 18 months. Baxia lights have performed flawlessly over summer heat and winter cold. Eventually the batteries will have to be changed, Luckily, buyers can purchase new rechargeable batteries and enjoy hassle free lights that charge from the sun and perform well. The lights are bright for the size. They turn on when a small animal , or larger comes within 10 feet. They lights turn off 15 seconds after motion has stopped.

Very, very impressed!!! I have other D battery operated motion lights at my residence, but I decided to go with these based on reviews here, as I’m tired of shelling out 15 to 20 bucks on D batteries every few months. I placed these 4 Baxia Solar lights on all sides of my house in areas that I’ve found could use some light to enter gates late at night – they have exceeded my expectations!!! These are well worth the money, as the light they produce is not only bright, but stays on for about a minute or more. Exactly, what I needed. I will buy again!

I love these! I had absolutely no issues with them. I pulled them out of the box and almost literally threw them up on my fence. I skipped the mounting hardware that was included and screwed them right into my fence boards with little effort. The lighting is great. Bright enough to see but low enough to not nuisance neighbors. The sensitivity is perfect too. It picks up my movement in a timely response as well as my cats! I didnt expect the sensitivity to be good enough to detect the cats but I was pleasantly surprised. In the evening when I call them I know they’re coming because my side yard lights up as they run home lol…. all in all I would definitely buy again… In fact I’m currently debating adding more to the other side of my house!

Bought this for my front yard so this works for nighttime and has been great for our Amazon delivery folks . I had a full set setup exactly for the outdoors and my toddler seem to like it especially when she walks in to one of the hallways and there is no light present unless we turn the lights on. So I decided to get another set and leave it next to the window in that hallway . One of these days we had a power outage which lasted for 10days and I ordered another set and had two of them for each room one for bedroom and another for bathroom. Best part is that my toddler would carry these around when she wants to walk around after sunset and she did drop it a few times and they have survived. In the mornings we would keep them all next to the window and in the evenings they were deployed so that it turns on when we wave or walk in that direction. In shot after our power was restored we have two sets of these still inside the house sitting next to the window not screwed and they work well in all the hallways so kids are not scared walking from one room to other in the dark. I can see my husband taking it for working under the sink or basements instead of our usual flashlight as we don’t have to worry about it getting wet or dirty and it is a bit rough and tough so we don’t have to worry of kids carrying them either. This is a must have in every house as they can be a good replacement for flashlights and they have never died on us as it would turn on only when we moved so in a way it works only when needed and they turn off .we got used to walking around the house without using any switches during outage and when we had electricity back we were kind of missing using them so we put them back in all the hallways (we have lot of sunlight in every hallway during the day ).

Bought this to light up an exterior stairwell that would be super annoying to install a light switch. These solar powered out door lights are AMAZON-AMAZING. You should make sure it sits outside in the sunlight for 8 hours prior to using, so it builds up a charge and then watch out nelly. These have a small imperceptible spot that when it falls dark turns on, much like the night light you install in a bathroom for you kids figuring one night they will wake up and need to stumble into the bathroom to go pee but really the only time it that scenario ever happens is when the power goes out and you’re cursing the night light because it’s not solar powered like these suckers, no…. it’s electric and you stub your toe. To clarify. these are solar powered and work like they should, plus their light weight so it doesn’t take Thor’s magic hammer to put them up.

Work very well – even if the coverage is very limited. Very easy to set up. Just remember to let them charge the day before you put them up and don’t forget to activate them with the needle tool included. I forgot and at first I thought they were defective. They’re nice and bright and appropriately sensitive movement.

If you’ve done your research you’ll have noticed others say that these don’t light up as bright depending on how much strong sun exposure they get and it’s true.Sometimes the motion won’t pick up very well as you walk up, but then they’ll pick up a speeding car passing by. Overall I’d say they were a solid purchase. Better than most products you find out there and if you’re lucky you can purchase while they have a coupon. They’re small enough to go unnoticed but also Large/bright enough to scare away intruders. Very happy with the purchase. We have 4 in the front of our house and when cars drive by they light up and make our house look scary – yay!

I put 4 around the front perimeter of my house due to lack of light for safely. The amount of light is surprisingly enough to make me comfortable in my surroundings while getting the baby out of the car. The motion detector is also helpful when I live view my security cameras to alert me if someone has been around the cars. I put them up with the double sided tape amazon suggested 3 months ago and haven’t had a problem*update* 3 years later they are still working great and they are up with the same tape! Been through snow, high winds, and over 100 degree temperatures.

These lights are awesome especially for being so affordable. We live in an apartment complex and our two side windows are in a very dark, bushy area. Well our neighbors said she saw someone looking in our windows late one night. Fully creeped out, we immediately looked for motion lights we could put in that area. These are bright, without being so bright that they shine a spotlight into our neighbors windows. They are very sensitive to any movement which is perfect and they are super easy to install. We actually bought double sided heavy duty tape since we can’t drill into our walls. So happy with your purchase!

Bought my first pair of these solar lights over a year ago. Installed them on my storage building and near the steps of my deck. Work great and do what they are designed for. Motion sensors detect about 12-15 feet distance. I live in the Southeast and they have withstood mild, wet winters and hot humid summers.Bought a set of four last month. Installed one on my camper, so far. Attached it with Velcro Industrial strength 4 x 1 inch tape. Tape fits perfectly on the back of the lights. Installed the Velcro tape on the same position on the back of the solar lights, I can easily switch lights, regardless of where I installed the opposite attaching Velcro tape. I install the camper light upon arrival at my site and remove it before departing the site.Highly recommend these little solar lights…they work!

I purchased these lights a couple months ago after I started having problems with raccoons destroying my birdfeeders. (I installed a camera and captured the masked raiders in the act.) I first started bringing in my feeders in at night, but grew weary of that after a week, and sure enough the rascals returned to pilfer.I attached the lights to pieces of scrap lumber and buried the end of the lumber in flower pots & three pound coffee cans filled with gravel and sand, as I didn’t think I’d want permanent lights in the yard and didn’t want to attach them to trees or mess with installing poles in the yard. These lights are very bright and very sensitive! They are thus far continuing to deter the masked thieves every night. The lights scare them away immediately. I like that the lights are small, but powerful and can be portable.

June 21, 2020: This is a one year and four month review. I Purchase these in February 2019. They are all still working. They are bright and the motion sensors are still working great. I bought the four pack of these. I mounted one on the roof fascia board above my walkway which heads towards front of house to garage. These Light up very well when exiting house. I mounted two of them on roof fascia above my garage. They are a bit higher but still are bright and work great. I mounted the last one one the other side of house roof fascia. Basically when I walk out the front door the first light comes on. Then as I go around to the driveway the second light comes on, then if I continue around the front of garage the third light activates. Basically it illuminates my walking around to garage entrance from front door very well. The last one will turn on if I continue walking around the house to the side. The fourth light is mounted above the side garage door. If I exit the side door from within garage it activates and lights up well. Overall these have held up well so far.We live in Arizona and have the extreme monsoon thunderstorms with extreme high winds and rain/hail every year during the season. It is extremely heavy during the monsoon season. We can get about one inch or more of rain in 10-15 minutes. The hail hasn’t broke the solar panels or any of the plastic. We are happy with these lights. I believe they are worth the money.

Super bright motion sensors. Three came fully charged but I had to charge the last one for two days before it worked. 5⭐ overall.Going to buy more and install along a fence where I feed birds/squirrels during the day, but other creatures were visiting at night. I have these on my deck so I can see if any raccoons, opossums or skunks are there, but since I installed them they don’t come around. I believe these lights are keeping them away. Now I don’t fear letting my dog out at night after getting sprayed by a skunk last year. We back up to a cornfield and have high winds and major storms here and over a month later they are still working perfectly.

I installed these because there is no lighting or wiring available outside. I’ve had these for 2 weeks now and I love them and my dog loves them. I used to use flashlight to find my dog in the backyard. Now these light the way. Awesome purchase, awesome product!!!! I just wish they last longer than 1min lit up. But, it’s great.

Seem pretty good so far. Nice little lights which light up very bright to motion detection. I bought set of four, arranged in my backyard to illuminate nightly dog walks and deter potential prowlers. I chose these lights because I wanted lights which are totally dark until motion is detected, which obviously preserves battery life. (Other brands offer models with a dimmer light which stays on constantly at night and then brightens when motion is detected.)As mentioned, light is very bright—considering the small package of the device. Simple to mount, using 2 screws (provided, but any small screws would work). I placed my lights temporarily (leaned against the house or against flower pots) until I decide exactly where I want them, but meanwhile they still provide about 30 seconds of illumination after activating. Even after several nighttime activations, there seems to be plenty of juice left for pre-dawn lightings.I did mount one unobtrusively behind my street side mailbox, which functions as a driveway sensor when a car pulls in or someone walks into the driveway.I intend to buy another four (at least) to place more around the house and shed. As each light functions independently from the others, and the coverage is overlapping, It would make it impossible to sneak up on my house in the dark. But aside from the security aspect, I find it most helpful for nightly dog walks in the backyard. In short, I’m very satisfied with these Baxia motion detection lights (I studied Reviews before purchase). I’ve only been using about a month—in summertime condition—long days of plenty of sunshine. I am optimistic for winter conditions; if I’m not satisfied I’ll certainly edit this review.Pros: —Excellent illumination—good motion detection—light stays completely dark until motion activation—good battery life so far—easy to mount, and could even be used portable, such as a camping site.Con: none yet noted.I recommend these Baxia Light. I will probably but more.

Way better than some I got 3 years ago. I installed these at my cabin deep in the woods. If house lights are off you can’t see your hand unless a full moon. Really. My cabin is a vacation rental so people show up at night. Old instructions said leave car running with headlights on porch so you can open key box. Now, not needed! I have one at porch entrance not to trip on step (very helpful after several cold snacks), another on porch by lock box, and last two along side you walk down to get to fire pit. Yep, all perfect and brighter and flood like than I expected. Great setup.

UPDATE : Changing 3 stars to 5 stars : This company’s customer service is so excellent I could give 5000 stars. After my review was posted they contacted me with how to test and fix it. When it didn’t work they sent me a replacement. That replacement was damaged from shipping and they sent another full replacement set for all of my lights. Their communication was excellent all the day and standing behind their product is so awesome. Thank you. My neighbor liked mine on the deck and they bought them as well. I will buy more once my addition finishes. Thank you again.I bought my first 4 Baxia solar light on June 2017. I loved it and tried to order the same but they were outdated and had a new 28 LED solar motion light was on the market so I ordered another set in May 2018. One of the light went out, won’t charge and wouldn’t come on in March 2019 and now another one went out. It won’t charge and wouldn’t come on. I love these lights but it doesn’t seems so durable. I have all 8 of them on the deck and one by one goes out. The warranty is only for a year so I’m out of luck. I was planning to buy some more as my other side of deck is finished but not sure. Wish they last longer.

These are such a great buy. Just bright enough that it doesn’t take away from the softer ambiance of my other patio lights. Needed them for the pets at night when they go out and for us to see perimeter. I have them around the perimeter of my fence. My dog loves to run around and turn on each one as a game. If she misses, she goes back and tries it again.

Out of the four lights I received, only three EVER worked. Within two weeks, two of those three ceased to work. The one that works is by my side walk way, where I park my car, it shines about ten foot down the walk way…and is bright….but fourty dollars for one cheap light is not a bargain by any means. With all of the emails the company sent me, prior to their arrival, I thought that they might actually work…I was wrong.UPDATE: After I posted the first review, the company contacted me and said that they were willing to send me more lights to replace the ones that didn’t work. I thought I might give them a second shot, so I said to mail the replacements. Today I received yet another email, and they tell me that the company policy, in my case, (not sure what that was supposed to mean) was to only replace two. I am tired of the emails and all the hooey…so, I told them to forget it, the first ones were lousy, so why would I expect replacements to be any better.I will add that if they spent as much time perfecting their faulty lights as they do sending an over abundance of emails, they probably would have just a dandy product….but as for me, want nothing to do with them or their lights again.

Last year, I took a chance and ordered a set, because I was unfamiliar with this type of solar light. They were so awesome that I ordered 4 more sets! The motion sensor is so sensitive that the light comes on a few feet before you reach it, and stay on for a few before turning off. My dogs can see where they’re going, and so can we! My husband installed four on our pool deck so we can swim at night. These lights survived all types of weather…rain…heat.. snow…storms and they come on every night! Even though I have 20 of these lights placed strategically throughout my yard….I will be ordering more! I don’t like to wander around in darkness, even in my own yard because of skunks, possums and other critters… but these lights make me feel safe. Plus…it’s so cool that they light your path as you walk….LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!

Like many others, I was skeptical about these at first. The price seemed too good for quality motion sensor lights. I’m glad to admit that my skepticism was all for nothing. I pulled the trigger and bought these, hoping for the best, and I’ve been very pleased so far. Our dog gets walked on a leash, and I don’t love walking him in the pitch dark of night (or early morning). As soon as I get near these lights, they come on and shine brightly. The three together light up most of my back yard. I have one of the four above my grill so that I can actually see what I’m doing without holding a flashlight (LOL). I’m debating on buying another set of these. They’d be nice to have installed on trees throughout my back yard. I love that they don’t stay on too long either. Go ahead and buy them, you’ll be glad you did.*Installation tip: The “unlock” button can be aggravating to activate/click. If one or more doesn’t come on properly, use the tool (or a straightened paper clip) to click the button again. I had to play around with them a bit, but they all work nicely now.

We ordered these for our entry path and ramp, with some concerns after reading reviews – not that competing products were typically rated any better. For us, no problems – No issue pushing the activation pin, easy to mount, more than satisfactory light level and performance. Indeed, 4 lights illuminate about 60 feet of walk and ramp brightly, and they retain enough charge from the day to exceed our requirements. Haven’t had them long so cannot yet comment on durability. The only slight down side is, the motion sensor doesn’t seem to have the stated range, and they don’t light until one is about 5 feet away – which works well for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

I was skeptical with brightness, sensitivity, durability and battery longevity. Sometimes South Texas heat and humidity eliminate the weak. But wow! After three seasons (we don’t have winters) the brown color is still like new, the lights are still bright and the motion sensors are still as sensitive as when I first bought them. Three of the lights will reach out about 6 feet. These three are mounted at just over 6 feet off the ground. The one attached to the house is at about 11 feet off the ground and it will light the ground below but only light outward 3 feet (enough). Keep in mind, these are solar and they need sunlight. I did have to move one to direct sun to get the full brightness out of it. It gets morning sun for just over an hour. I wish I could say how long it would go w/o a charge but seems the sun peeks out on cloudy days to.I have three mounted in the back yard on the dark side of the storage sheds and one by the back entry gate where its darkest. The screws it came with will work if you drill a pilot hole. It was easier for me to replace the screws with self tapping screws that I had in my tool box. At the end of the day I am happy with these lights. I ordered four more.

My usage of these lights is somewhat unconventional. I mounted each individual light to a plastic block approximately the same size as the base of each light. On the back of the block, I attached “soft broom hooks” which I can snap on to a horizontal rail on top of a truck camper. The lights then will provide a blanket of light around the camper @ night for security purposes as well lighting the area for safety. As far as I can tell, they work pretty well and put out a significant amount of light. For the money, they are worth it, as I had seen others at a “warehouse store” costing $5+ more per unit.

Used these as economical alternative lights mounted to deck columns …to avoid turning on the backyard floods. Two years later and they are still working well. The only issue is more cosmetic. The plastic cover over the solar panels have developed a haze similar to what you see on older plastic car headlights …but functionally, there is no change. They produce a good amount of light.Note, these are the 28 LED that generate quite a bit more light … while more on the front along the deck railing there is a different set (same brand) of 12 LEDs mounted that work just as well as the others …but generate a little less light. Also love that these provide an automatic double benefit (similar to the 12 LED version) …great for taking out the family dog for late evening / night walks in the yard (w/o having to put on a full flood light) …also, I think they are nice deterrent for possible late night unwanted visitors.

I’ve had these installed for almost two years now and have had ZERO issues with them. They have been through hurricanes, cold winter, etc. They have held up just fine, with no issues. I liked them so much I bought another pack of them and just keep adding them around the house. My house is well off the main street and it’s extremely dark around the house, so I bought these to light up the area when I come home and for security around the house. They’re only motion sensor and you cannot keep them on at night, which is what I’m currently wanting, but these are great if you’re looking for something that’s just motion sensor. They give off plenty of light for how small they are. I should’ve reviewed this a LONG time ago, but the money is definitely worth it. BUY THESE!

These work great! We had a few spots around our house that were a little dark so I put these up. The front of our house is fairly close to the street, but it turns on for cars driving by or people walking by and stays on for about 30 seconds. I only put 2 of them up so far, but they are both holding up. I didn’t want to screw into my siding so i also puchased siding hooks and installation couldn’t have been easier. One interesting tidbit is that if it’s really windy, the light will turn on (likely due to the leaves on trees blowing around) and i believe it will turn on for small animals as well. I’ve been very happy with this purchase!

Wow — I really didn’t expect much from these lights, but I am thoroughly impressed. I used 3M tape to install on my fence and brick home instead of using screws. They work great! It took me 30 minutes to install 8. I used the tape and a tape measure to ensure they were spaced the same from the top of the fence. Started up right away, attractive – but not huge, and work great – detecting motion from about 10 feet away and staying on until about 30 seconds after we leave the area. Perfect for taking our puppy out to go potty at night! Ordering more right meow!

From reviews and the price being to low to believe I was skeptical. However I was so in love with the 4 pack I bought that I went back and bought the larger ones to place next to my garage door. Who ever added lights to my house failed lol. There are no outside lights and my yard is very dark. I wanted something I could put up and forget. I highly recommend. This is my house at night. The motion lights work. I stuck mine up with Velcro because I didn’t want to place screws in my siding Incase I wanted to move the lights at a later date. Great buy.

We use these near our chicken coop, and near our calving pen to keep coyotes away. It’s crazy how far the sensor works, it’ll pick me up moving over 50ft away, and that’s great! They’re pretty bright for how small they are.I hung them with a few screws and they’ve seen snow, dust, dirt, and lots of hard rain and these keep on working!Definitely worth the money and now the yotes don’t come around anymore!

I have them around my 1.25 acre property at key points, mailbox, garbage cans, gate, side yard, etc. They are VERY sensitive to motion. I notice my mailbox light going on & off all night as vehicles drive by or wind blows through trees. The battery seems to charge enough during the day to be fine for the frequent usage at that location. I do have one that I put on a tree trunk in the winter (no leaves) & it was awesome all winter for street parkers to see their way in my unlit street area but it’s basically about 30% good in same spot with leaves on the tree…. duh… of course… but i’m going to leave it cuz it works well enough & I’m too lazy to move it. They are black plastic & have a couple holes to screw them to something. basic but they have stood the test in desert sun & a bunch of rain.

The pictures are very misleading – the lights are very small, they fit in one hand. While the lights do work and are bright, they do not light up any area more than a foot or a foot and a half away. You would need to place all four next to one another to have enough significant light to light a pathway or a door.

This is probably my fifth set of lights. All the others from different manufactures either just don’t work or don’t last long. Some fill with water some won’t hold a charge long enough to last the night. These work perfectly. I have had them for about a year and have had no problems. I like that they shut off completely unless motion triggers them. This save energy and there is no problem with them lasting.

I was skeptical when I bought these but I needed some light for the fence on the side of my house and I didn’t want the expense of installing outdoor electricity. These work perfectly. I installed them myself using the anchors and screws them provided. There are paper instructions and a little wire key to start the device (you only need to do this once). I set them about six feet off the ground and it activates whenever I’m within a 4 foot radius. The light is bright, not like those solar light sticks for the lawn. I would caution: do not install next to shrubbery or anything that sways in the wind, the light will be set off constantly by the motion. I suggest to turn on the devices and placing them near where you want to install them and see how they work over the next few nights. Are the lights too bright for the location? Do they get set off too frequently? Are they spaced properly? Are they facing the direction you want? Then install them with your corrections.

Love these! Perfect for my fence line. Especially helpful when I bring the trash out after dark. Just 4 of these guys easily lights up my super long driveway. I installed on top of the fence post to ensure good sun to charge them up. Very bright!! GREAT PRODUCT & PRICE POINT! Buying more of these for my two backyard gates on inside and outside so when I approach them in dark I’m not fumbling for handle.

This review is actually for three products that I have shown in the attached video. I walk my dogs at night which can be an obvious challenge. I purchased the noxgear light hound harness, the baxia solar lights, and a illumiseen LED collar. I pretty much like all 3 items and I’m happy with all three with a few exceptions.Baxia lights -5 stars so easy to install a cave man could do it. They are motion sensitive so they only light with detected motion. The one tiny little gripe I had was mine were missing instructions so I had to look up on You Tube how to trigger the “on” button which is with the use of the tiny paper clip doo dad that comes with the package. I’ve had them for over 2 months and they are still working great and are bright.Illumiseen LED collar-4stars like it but wish it was brighter. Also I purchased the wrong size a large for my GSD in the video. Not the products fault of course. I’ve had it for over 4 months and it’s still going strong. I have to recharge about every 2 weeks of use and I walk my dogs 1.5 miles every night and let them play outside.Noxgear light hound harness- 3 stars dang wish I could give it 5. This thing shines bright like a diamond. Drivers in their cars at night literally stop me and say “thank you!” I’ve had so many compliments on this thing and it holds a charge for a long time. I don’t really need to charge it for a good 3 weeks. Now the bad on this and it’s bad. The adjustment on this thing is terrible. I mean I’m a clothing design major and have a bachelors degree. I also have been sewing for over 30 years. I’m not the best tailor but even I know a construction flaw when I see it and this one has it. Overall the build and materials may initially justify the cost. This thing is expensive!! $60! I’ve had it for about 4 months and it’s falling apart already. Parts have literally fallen off. The adjustment component to this thing is horrible so horrible even a person who has been sewing as long as I have couldn’t figure it out and there are no instructions. It’s got this wonky Velcro thing that is supposed to hide extra length of strap that makes ZERO sense at all. One part literally ripped off meaning the straps used are of inferior quality. There is also this black button underneath that keeps getting unscrewed. I have ZERO idea why there is a leash loop on this thing the quality of the straps is horrible. With all these design flaws it truly does shine bright like a diamond but really should cost closer to $30 instead of $70

These lights are amazing. Way brighter than expected. Easy as hell to install. I actually hung them on screw in hooks. My parents had no lights out back of their house. Installed on back stairs, driveway, yard and side steps. They say the range for motion detection is 10 feet more like 20 to 30. Go off shortly after movement stops. These improved their home greatly and increased safety. Loved them so much I bought another’s to cover side, porch and front of the house. Solar power is excellent. 0 maintenance. Can’t beat the price.

These arrived yesterday and I installed one on a shed about 50′ from the house. We let our dogs out last night about 11:00pm (little dogs) and they activated the light. They light lit up an area about 75′ X 75′, very bright. These will be my go-to solar security lighting from now on.

So far I love everything about them. I still haven’t put them up yet, but I have some older (less LED Baxia lights already) so that is why I decided to go with this brand. I live in a tropical island where it rains nonstop (and the light might dim, but has never stopped working) and my house sits on the back of an acre of land so I would look like a drunkard every evening from work trying to get the key inside the lock of the gate because of the darkness. I had to wait for headlights of passerby cars on the country side, which are not too many. The older Baxia light nailed to a palm tree did it. And its still doing its job. I want these to add on to the already existing one and the other for another palm tree which is close to the gate for extra illumination. And the price is great too!

I’ve had a number of lights somewhat like this, over the years, and none of them have been very good–until these. These Baxia 101 lamps are surprisingly bright, the motion detection works perfectly, and they make it very easy to put motion lights where you want, as long as the light in any particular location is enough to charge them. One of my four doesn’t work, so maybe there’s a quality-control issue, or maybe my nonfunctional one is a one-in-a-million event. I like them too much to box them up and send them back, though. Definitely recommended!

I saw these lights reviewed on YouTube by Survival on Purpose and decided to give them a try. So far so good, installed one over my shed door, another on the side if my garage and a third above my garage door. I can say I am impressed by the ample lighting these solar lights provide. They pick up movement well, stay on about a minute which is working out fine for my use. I would recommend better anchors than what they supply, I had plenty in hand so I was fine with replacing them. They are holding their charge even with one getting less than the recommend sunlight. They are a great deal.

It is extremely dark here at night. I originally got these to light the path for our dogs when they go out for potty breaks at night. I put them along the fence that leads out to the bigger yard where the streetlight simi lights the area. It is extremely helpful for our little dog whose eyesight is failing. She was scared to go with the other dogs to the big yard because it was too dark. These lights are perfect for that. As someone approaches, the light comes on and shines brightly. Then I got another set to light the way from our driveway up to the house. That area is completely dark, and nothing illuminates the area even a little bit – until I placed these lights 15 feet or so apart. Now people can safely come through there, and the lights automatically turn on to light the way. They recharge well, even the ones located under the huge, big evergreen trees, and never get sun or higher volume light. They still shine brightly when someone approaches, whether a person, or an outside critter.

I am always skeptical of brands I don’t recognize. But, after reading the wonderful reviews for this product I ordered a set in April. We have a large yard and when we let the dog out at night, we lose sight of her, so we wanted a motion activated light so we could see where she was in the yard. I ordered the first set in April and we installed them. Initially we thought three of them didn’t work, but upon reading the instructions more closely, we realized we had skipped a step in the set-up process. All four worked. We used them through the spring and summer. As the days are starting to get shorter, I realized I would like some more lights for some other dark spots in the yard. Ordered last week and they work just as well as the original set ordered. The light is not super bright, but not as dim as some solar lights I’ve seen; I would categorize it as a medium brightness and we have ours placed in very high sun areas.

I bought these to put over our Kayaks that are on our back patio. They are awesome. It has been -7 degrees and they still work!! Our dogs go racing across the patio at night setting off the lights. They are FANTASTIC!! Super easy to install, super easy to set – don’t hesitate. They are not large and “in your face”. In fact, because we have a black house – it was hard for my husband to find these. The only “complaint” is the anchors provided in the hardware are horrible. Use or buy different anchors because the ones provided do not hold properly. They have a smooth head which allows you to actually be able to pull the item out/off the wall with ease.

I love these lights! I did the initial charges with one outside and the other three by a lamp. They all charged perfectly and were very easy to put up. I had concern about them not getting enough sun because I have really tall trees all around, but they do great. They activate easily and put out a nice light.I love having these for seeing when I go out at night (obviously), but it also adds a sense of security for me knowing if someone walks past, they’ll brighten the way! These lights are a really good price, but they don’t look cheap in person.

FANTASTIC RV SECURITY LIGHTS!!! My wife and I Camping with Katie Campfire located @campingwBS use these on our camper when it’s not being towed. We Velcroed them on all four sides of the trailer and they make excellent security lights when we are parked. We just used 3 of the individual velcro “dots” on the RV and the back of the solar light. They charge all day long and then when dark enough it allows us to take them off while out around the campfire at night. When ready to go to bed (if in a suspect location) or if we are boondocking and leave the trailer out for a few days we reattach them and they works perfectly. Anyone comes within 10-15 ft of the trailer gets lit up like a Christmas tree! Highly recommend and we hope to buy more when we can afford to!!!! Everyone that’s seen them love them!

These are really bright and light up the dark corners of my yard really well. I’m so happy when something gets to me and I see it’s just what it was advertised it was. No disappointments. These solar motion lights are perfect to use anywhere there’s some sun in the day time. From ten feet away they come on and stay on a good amount of time. I used super sticky tape because they so lightweight. I’m ordering more right now for my side yards. I’ll add pictures tomorrow if I remember.

I bought these because living out in the country we have skunks and when dog meets skunk I need to give my dogs a shower and usually it’s around midnight. I read that skunks don’t like lights so I mounted these on my back fence and these light trigger when they are supposed to and fingers crossed we haven’t had any skunk encounters since putting up the lights. I really like them and I was just able to zip tie them to the cyclone fence and they were ready to go.

I figured that buying and installing solar lights in the middle of an Alaska winter was a fool’s errand, but this price was low enough for me to give it a shot. I’m fairly certain these lights were not designed for my weather and sunlight conditions, but I’m happy to report that they have been working reliably in below zero Fahrenheit temperatures (-40 yesterday) and with only a few hours of low-on-the horizon sunlight. That, combined with the price, earns them 5 stars. Not surprisingly, they seemed bit dim when the temperature bottomed out, but they’re brighter this morning as the temperature has risen. I have them in place for security and not to light up the driveway and yard, so that’s fine. I really just want to know if someone’s in the driveway and to let them know we’re alert. I notice the light installed at the end of the driveway comes on every time a car passes, so it’s getting more use. It lasts all the long night and, by morning, is just as bright as the others that don’t turn on nearly as often.Snow does collect on the panel. I’ll probably turn at least couple of them 90 degrees to make the solar panel vertical to discourage snow buildup and to accommodate for the fact that the sun won’t be overhead for a few more months. Before I bought these lights, I looked for reviews about how they worked in winter conditions. There weren’t many, so here’s one. If you’re in the north and are wondering if they’ll work in winter, consider these–keeping in mind that they weren’t designed for Alaska.

We installed these on our side yard fence, and they are awesome. They detect motion from a few feet away and stay on if you move around near them. They also don’t use much energy as they turn off within 30 seconds or so of no motion. We don’t need them to be on for long, so even though they don’t see a ton of sunlight during the day, they still work perfectly for us. They were also super easy to install. All around, we highly recommend!

LOVE these lights!! They are solar powered and also have motion sensors so the come on automatically when movement is detected. I have mounted on my fence posts and near my back deck so I can see when I’m walking around out there at night. Also installed them for my cats, as we have a coyote problem in the area. We have a fence around a portion of our yard and I have strategically placed the lights on the outside and inside so they will come on when/if they approach my house. I hope it will alert my cats and give them time to get inside thru the cat window. They have already learned to be alerted when they come on. They are very bright a light up a big area. Would definitely purchase again.Order came quickly and is as advertised.

I felt like I needed to leave another review on these lights. I bought them 2 years ago on a Black Friday flash sale and thought I would try them. 2 years later they are still working and just as bright as the first day! This is amazing due to the fact that living here in Southern California every solar landscape light I have purchased in the past dries out from the harsh sun. These have not. Excellent product. We are relocating and I will need to purchase more for new property. This is the only product I will use. The motion sensor is sensitive enough my cat is able to walk by them and they light the path for her. I have them mounted about 5 1/2 feet off the ground on fence, and I have also placed them around my yard and gardens to alert me if there is an uninvited guest out there. Just love them!
